Sooo Xmas eve is my birthday... so being born at 11:23 p.m., Christmas was my first whole day as an adult. x3 It feels so surreal! I mean, I can still pull off being like, fourteen or something. -sigh- Odd, odd.
So what did I do on my birthday? My family came over and we ate a TON of good food. =] And Grandma made a TON of cookies to add to the ones we already made, so we're LOADED. I'm thinking of bringing them out for my party on New Years Eve to try and cut 'em down. x3 Hehe. Anyways, I already knew one of my presents cause, well, I already have it! My cell phone was given to me a month ahead because Mom had to start paying for it right when she bought it. It's so pretty~! Hehe, but I did get other things! Liiike pjs, a Disney Cheshire hat, and a birthday teddy. Theen I got money from my Grandma, money from my cousin, money from a family friend, annnd a homemade froggy blanket from my aunt and family.
We also celebrate some Christmas stuff in the evening part of my birthday. So I got more money from my Grandma, a mixed birthday/Christmas gift of money from my aunt and family, and some random stuff from my uncle. xD Yeah, my uncle Scott came over... who, if ya don't know about him and our feelings toward him, we haven't seen in like a year. I didn't expect any grand present from him, though. He always gives weird presents. He told me some of this stuff was 'vintage' or whatever, so if I didn't end up liking them, I could sell 'em. -shrug- We'll see. x3
Christmas itself was great! Basically we ate more good food, opened presents, and watched a ton of movies! Best present I got was my own Flip Ultra! <33 I've been borrowing NYAH's Mori's camera up until now. Mom even personalized it and put one of my Hani pictures on the front. But I got other things too, like more pjs [I love pjs x3 hehehe], a cool pillow that looks like an iPod [and you can actually plug your iPod into it and play that or even radio!], candy, and another hat. Movie wise, lets see... we watched A Christmas Story the other night, so just on Christmas was a version of A Christmas Carol, our tradition of It's A Wonderful Life, The Muppets Christmas [or something], How The Grinch Stole Christmas [Jim Carey], Rudolph, annnd The Santa Claus. <33 It was nice! Lots of relaxing.
At the end of the night, I was in tears... x3 Dad and I were hugging and stuff, and he was talking to me about how he couldn't believe I was eighteen now... And that he's so proud of me and such. One of the things I always tried striving for in my life was keeping Dad proud. To know I accomplished it was a wonderful feeling. There were other things brought up, but yeah, in the end, I burst into tears. Honestly, I don't know if I'm ready to hit the adult world. It seems so alien... but I have no choice. I need to accept it eventually. I guess it'll just take some getting used to.
But like Dad said, I AM still a 'teen'. xD EighTEEN! Then next year is nineTEEN! xD So I guess I'm not too bad off yet. <33
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! ^-^

D-D-D-Disney!
Who loves Disney?
...Well I hope you raised your hand, cause I can't see it from over here.
Disney's just one of those things that almost everyone loves or has loved at some point in their life. It's not just here in the U.S., either. It's like... everywhere! =]
When I was a kid, I used to watch Disney every single day. Now as an [almost] adult, I may not watch it every day, buuut I swear I listen to it! Youtube's such a wonderful creation. Once I get home and decide to listen to music, Disney almost ALWAYS pops up. When I'm singing on my own, a Disney song almost always pops into my head.
I can't stress this enough: it's the OLD Disney that I love, or when they team up on movies with Pixar. None of this Disney on tv. Why they ever changed it is beyond me... Just putting this out there, but I wish kids had a role model [even though they were cartoons] like a Disney princess or something instead of Miley Cyrus or any of the others. Luckily a few kids still are introduced to said princesses, nonetheless... I'm not trying to push any buttons if you DO like Miley. Like who you want to like. ;D These are just my opinions, and frankly, she gets on my bad side.
Speaking of Disney, I wish I could go to Disneyland again... specifically around Halloween or Christmas. See, the only time I was there was a few years ago in the summer. We looked at the pretty attractions and went on the fun [but long lined] rides. I don't care how kiddish this may be, but I'd LOVE to meet the characters, especially Jack, Peter Pan, annnd the Mad Hatter. Hehe, I'd totally propose to Jack if he wasn't with Sally. I love that couple too much to tear it away. ^-^ Same with the Mad Hatter. He and Alice belong together. Now Peter Pan... Yeah, I think I'll go after him. I recommend going onto Youtube and watching some videos of the actors that portray the characters at Disneyland. They're too cool, really funny, and damn addictive! x3
Oh! Also speaking of Disney, I've been thinking about cosplaying as a character from it! I'll give you some hints: She's blonde, small, and although she's been in an older movie, she now has a few of her own. Thaaat's right, it's Tink! I adore her sooo much~! And only recently have I seen her own movies, and I gotta say that they're actually good! ^-^ I was a little skeptical at first. Aha! And I just realized if I did get to cosplay as Tinkerbell, I can follow Peter around! =3 I think it'll be one at the top of my cosplay 'maybe' list.
Annnnd because I'm getting so absorbed into The Nightmare Before Christmas as I write this [when am I not? x3], I'm going to end it here! Yay for a post filled of Disney and rambles! I'll leave you with THIS QUESTION!: What is your favorite Disney movie? Orrrr what is your past favorite and your current favorite? =3 I'll say two of mine: The Nightmare Before Christmas annnd The Lion King. But trust me, I have a ton more!
<33 Loveee love love youuu! ^----^

Introduction, Introduction, YAY!
OHAI! ^---^ My name is Ash Anesthetic. Who am I? I'm a girl of seventeen that LOVES to sing, write, cosplay, read, and be a goofy goober all day and all night! Wee~!
A couple months ago, I came up with an idea that got me excited to no end. What idea was this? NYAH productions! For a looong time, I've wanted to cosplay as Hani from Ouran High School Host Club. I'm so lucky to have a mommy like mine, cause she made that dream come true! I was officially Hani in September of 2010.
Before my official Hani and even before NYAH, I had wanted to get together a full Host Club to perform a skit at Anime Detour. However, this last Detour of 2010, my friends Morgan [Kaoru], Meika [Kyouya], Miki [Haruhi], and I were talking about the panel we had seen of Ouran. We had SO many ideas for one, and after a little bit, almost a whole panel was created! That summer, we recruited not only enough people for the whole Host Club, but a Renge and a Nekozawa, as well!
My ideas wouldn't stop, though! x3 I kept coming up with little things, but knew that it wouldn't fit in one sitting. I've always been a Youtube nerd, and I love watching videos of cosplayers. From there, I decided we needed a Youtube channel! But we needed a name for it... In other words, we needed to create a cosplay group in general. With help from Neko-chan, we officially created NYAH, it's Youtube, and even a Deviantart! And the rest is history, I guess. ;D Hehe.
I'm so grateful for this group. My creativity juices are overflowing, more than before! ^-^ I've gotten to meet new friends through this, ones that I love very much. When we first started filming, I couldn't stop saying, "I have such a good feeling about this, guys. You have no idea," and I think I was right. We're not out to be a known by millions cosplay group. We're not trying to say, "Oh, we're THE best cosplayers EVAH! BOW TO US!" x3 cause we definitely aren't. But I do know that I'm so proud of what we've accomplished so far, and I'm not going to stop anytime soon.
SO~! What will I be writing on this blog? I believe I'm going to dedicate my cosplay stuff to my personal Deviantart blog ONLY! So that'll include cosplay progresses, what I want to be, reviews on animes, ect. I won't deny that some stuff here and there may be leaked into this blog, also. xD But on my Deviantart before, I started to do a daily blog about my life and views. I think that's what I'll do with this blog. It may not be everyday, but it may be something of a journal. I'll say what's on my mind about any topic I so choose. So stay tuned!
<33 Hugs and kisses! ^-^
